In studying numerous successful individuals such as Mary K Ash, Michael Jordon, Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey and Linda Larsen, I’ve discovered there is one primary principle that separates these individuals from people who do not reach their highest levels of success and fulfilment. These individuals have proven over and over again that they are willing to do what unsuccessful people are not. Once they reach their limit they give just a little more and push just a little farther.

They continue to ask for the sale after being told, “NO!” for the 20th time. They get up early or stay late to ensure the project is completed on-time with quality and excellence. They break through barriers and limited thinking that others have set for them. They dream of and work diligently at creating the success they desire. In short, those who come to lasting success have developed the mindset for it. They cultivate an attitude of success long before success actually catches up with them. This attitude isn’t just about being confident or having high self-esteem. Rather, it is a way of thinking in which your goals and aims are always in the picture, no matter what you do. It is a way of approaching and dealing with the world in a manner that portrays an attitude of possibility and confidence.

A mindset for success is one in which you are unafraid of hard work and commitment. It is one where your purpose in life is what drives you, and you are happy to be on the journey. When you have a mindset for success, you see solutions and new avenues instead of problems and obstacles. No one just naturally ‘has’ an attitude of success; it is developed. To become successful you have to want it badly enough and be willing to give this journey your all.

With a clear understanding of what you really want in life and a mindset for success, you are sure to reach your goals.
