This statement is my personal mantra and the words that I seek to live by. As a leader, I realize that my leadership legacy is the sum total of the difference I make in the lives of the people I encounter every day. My impact may be indirect or direct, long lasting, or short lived. But, nonetheless, I understand the impact is important becaue the lives of those I touch, those I lead, will be forever changed because of our encounter.

People within your sphere of influence are watching your every move. They are learning from you, being changed by your actions, and inspired by your accomplishments. This is both an extraordinary opportunity and responsibility.

Hi Everyone. Today’s video was filmed at American Nails with Cal, the only guy I trust to keep my nails looking pretty. Before I share more about why Cal is such an important guy in my life…Let me ask you this question…
Why do we choose one brand over another?
Why is it that some people will drive past two 7-Eleven® stores to find a Starbucks® Coffee shop? The answer is simple. It’s because of the combination of characteristics that differentiates Starbucks® from 7-Eleven®. For the true coffee connoisseur, 7-Eleven® is no match for Starbucks®.
And that is exactly why I love “American Nails” so much. I drive over 10 miles for 22 minutes across two counties, passing exactly [Read More...]

551-Fitzgerald-800x600When you accept yourself with all of your flaws and unique talents, the world seems to become a more accommodating place. You’ll find that some of the causes of your stress disappear and you can gain more joy on a daily basis.

Accepting yourself completely entails courage, wisdom and compassion. If you’re plagued by negative emotions such as anxiety, jealousy, shame, anger, envy, or guilt, these may be signs of low self-esteem. To counter this, you can learn radical self-acceptance.

If you find yourself equating your worth with your achievements, love life or social status, what happens if these are someday diminished? After all, these are temporary conditions. Life [Read More...]
